Theater Club Registration 

Classes are open to all students grades 2nd through 6th and will be held on Wednesdays beginning January 11, 2017.

Kids Theater Club (2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades) from 5 to 6 p.m.

Kid’s Theater Club is a workshop uniquely designed for the child who would like to explore may different areas of theater.  Each week a new theater adventure is presented.  Pantomime, mime, skits, magic, commercials, theater games, improvisations, role playing and acting are some of the theater forms we will cover.  A presentation showing what the students have learned each week will be demonstrated at the end of the workshops.  Costumes will be provided.

Lights, Curtain, Act (5th and 6th grades) from 6:15 to 7:30

Lights, Curtain, Act is a basic acting class specifically designed to introduce students to a variety of acting styles including leading roles and supporting roles. This workshop will explore scenes from The Music Man, Our Town, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Annie, Camelot, Heidi, Diary of Anne Frank and others.  Each student will work on perfecting monologue.  After all material has been explored and tested, students will select the scene they feel will best challenge their acting ability and will work intently on perfecting specific scenes for performance night.

Price:  $85 to ANNIE SNYDER and $15 Registration fee (per family) to ROSS ELEMENTARY PTO

The conclusion of the workshops shall result in all the students presenting a show on
