General Questions

What does the PTO do for the school?

The short answer:  The PTO organizes events, produces a school directory, and raises funds for projects and equipment to supplement that which is provided by the school.

The longer answer:  We focus on building the kind of school community where teachers and students can do their best work. That means running family events, like Book Bingo and Movie Night.  Organizing classroom parties.  Planning Assemblies.  Running after-school clubs.  Giving teachers the opportunity to apply for supplemental funds for classroom projects.  Research shows that when parents get involved in their children’s education, the children do better in school and the school as a whole becomes more successful!

When are the PTO meetings?

General Meetings are September 26, 2013 at 7:30, January 30, 2014 at 7pm and March 20, 2014 at 7pm.  Meetings will be held in the Ross Cafeteria.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.  Light refreshments will be served.  Upcoming meeting agendas may be previewed here.

Who do I contact if I have questions about upcoming events?
